Te katau te nana

Description:
Te katau te nana. Waist ornament of coconut shell discs. This is made up of three components; te kora (sennit cord), te nana (coconut shell discs) and te nouo (conus shell). It is a double-stranded piece. Te kora is constructed using the two-ply technique however, the ends have loosened.
