Description:
i Taube Bati ni Vuaka. Boar tusk adornment. A neck adornment consisting of a large boar tusk suspended from doubled up cords of dyed magimagi (coconut sennit) braided in 3 ply technique. Plant fibre, light brown in colour, is threaded through a drilled hole at the base of the boar tusk. The magimagi is dyed black in colour. Small glass beads incorporated into the magimagi, six of a dark blue colour, two white coloured beads.
