Moai Paepae

Description:
A carved human figure with a pointed chin, no hair, and large ears and nose. The right arm is bent upwards on the body, while the left is lower and less bent above vagina. Curator Notes: Unique carving of a female Moai Kavakava. No, or very few, depictions of female Moai kavakava are known to exist.
