- This analysis was conducted by UN Environment, the International Coral Reef Initiative (ICRI) and UN Environment World Conservation Monitoring Centre, in response to United Nations Environment Assembly (UNEA) Resolution 2/12 on sustainable coral reef management and the ICRI 2016-2018 Action Plan Goal 1.2, which encourages financing for projects and initiatives helping to protect and restore coral reefs, mangroves and seagrasses.
