Papua New Guinea: An overview of its protected areas system: Draft

Description:
This report is necessarily broad in its scope and based on a reiew of the available literature. While it has been reviewed by appropriate experts, with the first hand knowledge of conservation issues in PNG, in no way should it replace on the ground surveys to assess the integrity of protected areas and to identify gaps in the existing system. Rather, this report should be used to promote a national review of protected areas systems.
