SAPA : The Role of the FAO Sub-Regional Office for the Pacific

Description:
As a result of a comprehensive restructuring of the FAO structure, SAPA was established. This video describes FAO facilities and duties to the Pacific Region. SAPA provides and distribute agricultural information and direct policy advice to member countries. SAPA Forestry Unit assists member countries in their adoption of proper forestry practices. In summary, FAO supports and assists Pacific Nations in acquiring sustainable management of fisheries, forestry, and agricultural resources throughout the Pacific.
