Marine Studies Centre : Tasmania Boating Patrol Segments

Description:
The Marine Studies Centre in Tasmania was funded by the Schools Commission with assistance from State Government and the Local Council and Community of Tasmania. It's purpose was to provide first hand experience of the sea and it's marine animals. Field trips are carried out where several activities such as water sampling, navigational techniques, and on-hands exercises, are relayed to eager and anxious school children. A mini movie on safe boating tips follows. It provides useful information on safe boating tips and preparation guidelines to avoid unnecessary accidents while at sea.
