A Nurse from Project HOPE (a civilian organization of medical volunteers) carries an IV bag and guides an Indonesian man carrying his boy away from a US Navy (USN) MH-60S Seahawk helicopter, Helicopter Combat Support Squadron 5 (HC-5), Andersen Air Force Base (AFB), Guam, aboard the Military Sealift Command (MSC) Hospital Ship USNS MERCY (T-AH 19). The boy was airlift to the MERCY for treatment. The MERCY is currently off the waters of Indonesia in support of Operation UNIFIED ASSISTANCE the humanitarian relief effort to aid the victims of the Tsunami that struck Southeast Asia on December 26, 2004
