The Russian Federated Navy (RFN) GORYN (Type 714) Class, Salvage Tug, (ARS 522) (right), navigates through Apra Harbor, Guam (GU). Also pictured are the RFN Parchim II Class (Type 133.1m) Frigate, PARCHIM II (foreground left) and a RFN Sovremenny Class (Type 956), Destroyer (background left). A US Navy (USN) Harbor Tugboat operates background center. Four RFN Ships are participating with US Navy Ships in Passing Exercise 2006 (PASSEX 06) off the coast of Guam. PASSEX 06 is an exercise designed to increase interoperability between the two navies while enhancing the strong cooperative relationship between Russia and the United States
