- To news just in from the Solomons now, where a magistrate has dismissed a case against the controversial Australian lawyer Julian Moti. Julian Moti was facing charges of entering the Solomon Islands illegally after boarding a clandestine flight from Papua New Guinea three months ago, in a bid to avoid extradition to Australia to face child sex charges. The Julian Moti affair saw diplomatic relations between Australia, PNG and the Solomons hit rock bottom, with Canberra banning visits by ministers from both countries.
