Warana Writers' Week: 'Soldiers stories' with Peter Pinney, Terry Burstall and Michael Noonan (Chair)

Founded in the 1960s, Warana Writers' Weekend, later (from 1986) Warana Writers' Week, was held each Spring as part of Brisbane's Warana Festival. It brought together Australian and International authors, ranging from fiction and non-fiction writers to poets, playwrights, biographers and screenwriters, to editors, journalists and academics. In themed sessions, panel discussions and readings open to the general public, they shared their work, explored various aspects of the literary world, and fielded questions from the audience.
