This is my grandfather
By Taputukura Raea | Paraparaumu | 5 Mar 2025
This record is of my grandfather Carl Marsters. He is my mums father, even though he passed away when my mum was young we still have many stories that have been passed down to us by my aunties and uncles. He was classed Warrant Officer Class 2 and appointed to Company Sergeant Major of the Rarotongan Company. He was the highest ranked Native Cook Islander in WWI. We are so proud of his achievements.
