- In April 2015, the Secretariat of the Pacific Community, SPC held a week-long initiative consisting of a number of activities in the Kingdom of Tonga, in an effort to strengthen the linkages between agriculture and tourism. Organised by the European Union funded Pacific Agriculture Policy Programme – PAPP and Tonga’s Ministry of Agriculture Food, Forestry and Fisheries - MAFFF, a one-day farmer’s training program was held in the capital Nuku’alofa to start off the activities.
