US Navy (USN) Hull Maintenance Technician First Class (HT1) Martin Mantz (left), and USN Hull Maintenance Technician Second Class (HT2) Gary Chavez talk to reporters at a press conference about their rescue after floating overnight 21 miles off the island of Oahu, Hawaii (HI), when their 21-foot fishing boat sank on October 24th. During the night, the two Sailors became separated but a US Coast Guard (USCG) HH-65 Dolphin helicopter crew located and pulled USN HT2 Chavez from the water.
