The VP-3A Orion aircraft used by ADM James A. Lyons Jr., commander in chief, U.S. Pacific Fleet, taxis on the flight line upon arrival at Qingdao Airport. Lyons and his staff will return to Hawaii aboard the aircraft at the conclusion of a port visit by U.S. Navy ships. This is the first time an Orion has landed in China

The U.S. Navy Military Sealift Command Mercy Class Hospital Ship USNS MERCY (T-AH 19) sits moored pier side moor at Naval Station Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, on Sept. 20, 2006, for a brief port visit enroute to its homeport at Naval Base San Diego, Calif., while in the background a rainbow is seen spanning the Ford Island Bridge.
