The diver, wearing a Mark 12 dive helmet is studying the wreck of the World War II Japanese merchant ship KIZUGAWA MARU as part of Project Sea Mark, a four-year undersea survey and mapping study of naval historic sites. The study is being conducted in conjuction with the U.S. Park Service's Submerged Cultural Resource Unit
