US Marine Corps (USMC) Marines, 3rd Battalion, 3rd Marine Regiment, guard their AAV7A1 Assault Amphibian Vehicles (AAV) following a mechanized raid in support of exercise Rim of the Pacific 2004 (RIMPAC 2004). RIMPAC is the largest international maritime exercise in the waters around the Hawaiian Islands.
